Hazels Attention Layer
Creator contribution measured through multiple verified signals rather than follower count, raw engagement, private selection or campaign-entry speed.
Pulse is the creator-campaign and attention-measurement layer of the Hazels ecosystem.
It is designed to measure contribution through multiple verified signals rather than relying exclusively on follower count, raw engagement, private selection or campaign-entry speed.
Pulse combines identity reputation, external reputation data, X account quality and campaign-specific creator contribution into a single measurable Impact Score.
Its scoring system is supported by Hazels-operated integrity agents that continuously examine behavioral, social and network-level signals for manipulation.
Access model#
Pulse campaigns are private.
Participation is limited to verified Hazels holders and active stakers unless a specific public campaign is explicitly announced.
External creators cannot participate solely through follower count, influence, partnership status or audience size.
Signal architecture#
Signal layer | Purpose | Example inputs |
|---|---|---|
Reputation Score | Measures the creator's established credibility within the Hazels ecosystem | Historical campaign completion, consistency, verified participation, penalties and account standing |
Social Score | Adds an external reputation and identity-quality signal | Approved external account score captured through the integration |
X Account Score | Evaluates the quality and authenticity of the connected X account | Account age, audience structure, posting history, engagement consistency and network quality |
Contribution Score | Measures the creator's actual value to the active campaign | Content relevance, originality, reach quality, discussion generated and verified campaign actions |
Integrity Factor | Reduces or invalidates manipulated activity | Bot probability, coordinated behavior, duplicated content, artificial engagement and suspicious traffic |
Personal Multiplier | Applies eligible campaign or ownership-based weighting | Published Holder, Staker, badge or campaign multipliers |
Score normalization#
Every input is normalized to a common scale before aggregation.
For a raw metric x, Pulse may apply percentile-based normalization:
N(x) = 1000 x (rank(x) - 1) / (population - 1)The normalized result is constrained to a range between 0 and 1,000.
This prevents one data provider or one unusually large raw metric from dominating the entire score.
Creator Identity Score#
The Creator Identity Score combines three independent reputation layers:
Creator Identity Score = 0.40R + 0.35S + 0.25XWhere:
R = normalized Hazels Reputation Score
S = normalized Social Score
X = normalized X Account Score
Component | Weight |
|---|---|
Hazels Reputation Score | 40% |
Social Score | 35% |
X Account Score | 25% |
Total | 100% |
The weighting model prevents follower count or a single external score from becoming the sole determinant of creator eligibility or ranking.
Campaign Contribution Score#
Creator contribution is evaluated independently for each campaign.
Contribution Score = 0.30Q + 0.20O + 0.20A + 0.15D + 0.15CWhere:
Q = content quality and campaign relevance
O = originality
A = authentic audience response
D = qualified distribution
C = conversation and downstream contribution
Contribution signal | Weight | Measurement |
|---|---|---|
Content Quality & Relevance | 30% | Alignment with the campaign brief, clarity and informational value |
Originality | 20% | Semantic uniqueness and absence of duplicated or templated content |
Authentic Audience Response | 20% | Quality-adjusted engagement from verified accounts |
Qualified Distribution | 15% | Reach across relevant and non-manipulated account networks |
Conversation Contribution | 15% | Replies, discussion depth and verified downstream activity |
Total | 100% | — |
Impact Points#
The final campaign ranking is based on Impact Points.
Base Impact = 0.40(Creator Identity Score) + 0.60(Contribution Score)
Impact Points = Base Impact x Personal Multiplier x Integrity FactorThe Personal Multiplier is visible before the campaign closes.
The Integrity Factor remains dynamic while the campaign is active and may be reduced when suspicious or manipulated activity is detected.
Calculation flow#
Stage | Action |
|---|---|
01 | The creator connects a wallet and verified X account. |
02 | Pulse retrieves the approved Reputation, Social and X account signals. |
03 | Raw values are normalized against the applicable creator population. |
04 | The Creator Identity Score is calculated. |
05 | Submitted campaign content is indexed and evaluated. |
06 | Contribution signals are calculated from verified activity. |
07 | Hazels integrity agents inspect account and engagement behavior. |
08 | The Integrity Factor and Personal Multiplier are applied. |
09 | Final Impact Points determine leaderboard position. |
10 | Scores remain subject to final integrity review before settlement. |
Reward logic#
Access level | Reward logic |
|---|---|
Active Staker | Every eligible active staker who completes the published campaign requirements receives a guaranteed project airdrop allocation. There is no FCFS competition between eligible stakers. |
Holder | Eligible holders compete through the campaign leaderboard. Allocations are awarded according to the final verified ranking and the reward supply announced for the campaign. |
External User | No access. A non-holder or non-staker cannot participate solely through creator status, follower count or audience size. |
